Number Patterns

Historical frequency data across every NLA-authorised draw — hot numbers, cold numbers, overdue balls, pair frequencies, and a full 1–90 heatmap. Every draw is independent. These are patterns, not predictions.

Select Game & Period

Statistical patterns, not predictions. Every lottery draw uses certified random equipment. Past frequency has no mathematical influence on future results. This data is provided for historical interest only. Play responsibly — must be 18+.

Hot Numbers

These numbers have appeared most frequently in the selected period. In Ghana, players call a number they include in every ticket combination a "banker"awotwe in Akan — based on how often it has historically appeared. High frequency does not predict future draws.

Cold Numbers

These numbers have appeared least frequently in the selected period. Some players avoid cold numbers; others target them expecting a correction — called "chasing a cold key" locally. Statistically, neither strategy outperforms random selection.

Overdue Numbers

These numbers have not appeared for the longest consecutive run of draws. In local lotto vocabulary these are called "sleeping numbers" or "cold keys"adwo nɔmba in Twi. Each draw is certified random, so absence does not increase the probability of future selection.

Frequency Heatmap

Every number from 1 to 90, coloured by draw frequency. Deeper gold means drawn more often; lighter means fewer appearances. Hover or tap any number to see its exact count.

Top Pairs

“Two sure” (2Sure) means choosing two numbers you believe will both appear in the same draw — equivalent to a Perm 2 bet. The pairs below have appeared together most often in the selected period across all five drawn positions.

Note: with 90 numbers and 5 drawn per game, each specific pair appears roughly once in every 18 draws by chance. Any pair in this table that exceeds that frequency is running statistically hot.

Frequency Leaders

These numbers have appeared at an above-average rate in the selected period — what many Ghanaian players call their "bankers" or "key numbers" for the week. Displayed for statistical interest only. Every draw is independent.

Key Terms

Ghana's lotto has a rich vocabulary. Here's what the common terms mean — with the Twi (Akan) equivalents used by most players across Accra, Kumasi, and the regions.

Banker / Awotwe
A number you include in every ticket combination because you believe it will be drawn. Named from the English “bank on it.” In Twi: awotwe — literally “a sure thing.” Our Hot Numbers section shows current statistical bankers.
Two Sure / 2Sure
A bet where you choose exactly two numbers expecting both to appear. Equivalent to a Perm 2. Higher payout than a direct single-number bet. Our Pairs section shows which two-number combinations have appeared together most often.
Direct / Straight
The simplest play: you pick one or more individual numbers and win if any is drawn. In Twi: tietie or direct. No combination required — one number, one bet.
Perm / Permutation
Short for permutation. You choose multiple numbers and the system plays every possible combination from them. A Perm 3 from 4 numbers creates 4 tickets covering all sets of 3. Larger perms mean more coverage but higher cost.
Banker Perm / Key & Key
A perm where one number (the “banker”) appears in every combination, and the remaining slots are permuted from your other picks. Locally also called key and key. Reduces cost versus a full perm by anchoring one position.
Against / Against Bet
A bet that a specific number will not be drawn. Less common but available at licensed counters. The payout is lower than a direct bet but the probability of winning is higher since 85 of 90 numbers are not drawn each game.
Machine Numbers / Machine No.
The five numbers actually drawn by the certified lottery machine in a given draw. When Ghanaians search “machine numbers today” or “machine numbers for Fortune Thursday,” they mean the official winning numbers. Our Results page publishes these after every draw.
Cold Key / Adwo Nɔmba
A number that has not appeared for many consecutive draws. In Akan: adwo means cold or quiet; nɔmba is number. Some players chase cold keys expecting them to “wake up.” Our Overdue Numbers section tracks these.
Fortune Thursday / VAG Thursday
NLA’s Thursday 5/90 draw, one of the most popular weekday games. Also searched as “VAG Thursday” after the original VAG lottery brand. Five numbers drawn from 1–90 every Thursday evening.
5/90 Game / Ghana Lotto
The standard NLA draw format: five winning numbers drawn from a pool of 1 to 90. Ghana’s most common lotto format, running across Monday Special, Lucky Tuesday, Mid Week, Fortune Thursday, Friday Bonanza, and Sunday Aseda.

Statistics Are Entertainment

Ghana's NLA draws use certified random equipment tested and audited independently. No frequency analysis, banker system, or prediction tool can improve your odds. Play for the fun of it — set a budget and stick to it.
